Issues before SAP Business One Implementation:
- They were using local SQL base system which is not compatible as per their requirement and also due to heavy data they were not manage their database properly.
- They were using different multiple system for managing their account, inventory, sales and others operations.
- They were not maintaining their inventory in proper systematic way and run time inventory valuation were not match with account statement.
- They were not managing their inventory each and every stage and warehouse wise.
- Finished system wise proper and unique, Bill of Material were not managing in system.
- Serial number traceability reporting was not properly managed in the old system.
- They were manually managing their R&D division. Only account part was managed in tally system.
- Customer and vendor inventory tracking is managed through Excel reports.
- For sales filed forces, they were using SALE FORCE portal, which is not instigated with actual database.
- Sales traceability from the beginning (Sales Order) to end (Dispatch), not properly manage in old system.
- They were maintaining Customer ageing in Excel sheets.
- Final cost sheets for finished systems were maintaining in Excel and vendor bill submit to the accounts team, the corresponding approved cost sheets were manually attaching for verification.
- Work order wise purchase tracking system were managing in excel.
- Vendor wise special price list, Item wise price list and multi-currencies price list was not managed in old system.
- The system did not support or manage multi-currency transactions.
- Manually manage their GST and TDS register.
- Manually manage their Fixed Assets register and depreciation process run.
- Log list of account was maintaining in Tally system.
The Solution
SAP Business One was selected and Silver Touch Technologies Canada led the team through the implementation process starting from the initial stage till the end. In addition to the SAP B1 core modules and functionalities, STTL designed some addition add-on and web- portal solutions to meet JVPL business requirements and successfully integrates with SAP. We have also customized some UDO forms to manage some process requirements.
