Transforming Invoice Processing with RPA: Faster, Smarter, and Error-Free
Our client leverages a cloud-based ERP system to manage purchase orders (POs), invoices, and various other business processes. On average, the client receives over 3,000 invoices per month via email, often as attachments within ZIP files. These invoices must be categorized by company type and entered into the ERP system within a strict SLA of 24 hours. Additionally, some invoices are classified as credit invoices, which require special handling.- Location Canada

Project Overview
The primary challenge faced by the client was the manual nature of data entry into the ERP system. Each data entry operator required approximately 10–15 minutes per invoice to input and update records daily. Furthermore, once the invoice data was entered, the accuracy and legitimacy of each entry needed to be manually verified, further extending the time and effort required to complete the process. To address these challenges and optimize the process, we developed a comprehensive automation solution using the Automation Anywhere A360 platform. By implementing this RPA solution, the client has drastically reduced the time, effort, and errors associated with invoice processing. The automated workflow not only meets the SLA requirements but also improves operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
